Global Consensus on IC/BPS '25

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is my pleasure to invite you, a key opinion leader, to a global consensus meeting on IC/BPS. The presence of NIDDK MAPP, ESSIC, GIBS, Asian and Middle East representatives will make this a truly global meeting.

Meeting Goals

  1. A consensus on clinical and research aspects of IC/BPS.
  2. To establish attainable targets in phenotyping/ diagnosis /markers for IC/BPS.

Attendees

  • Key opinion leaders in the field across the globe
  • Young researchers in the field
  • Program officers from NIDDK
  • Industry representatives from companies seeking to establish diagnosis or new treatment in the field
  • Patient support group(s)

Synopsis

  • Key opinion leaders to be identified by the organizing committee (based on prior work/publications/new research)
  • List of topic areas for consideration is enclosed, finalized by the Organizing Committee
  • Each invited Key Opinion leader attendee to lead or participate in one or more topic areas
  • Each topic group to develop a consensus document based on available
    literature/expert opinion and present draft document at the meeting
  • Draft document to be finalized after input/discussion at the meeting
  • Each Committee report document when finalized to be published as a special issue by NUU
  • It is proposed that each committee will present a five-minute synopsis at the AUA 2025 (SIIU session)
